Sponsors for 2018

Cute as a Button

I'm Francesca and live in Rancho Cucamonga, California.  I have four wonderful children, 2 granddaughters and a very understanding and godly hubby who I have been married to for almost 30 years now.
I’m the Owner/Artist/Designer of Cute As A Button Stamps. I’ve been a crafty, artsy kind of girl since the age of 4, like forever!  My dream has always been to have a career in the creative arts.  I have worked both in the non-profit and in the legal corporate world for over 30 years before opening Cute As A Button Stamps, which is now my full time gig. I have been diagnosed with several debilitating sicknesses and was also laid off from work in 2013,.  I needed to find something that had no start up costs and could help support my family, thus, Cute As A Button Stamps was opened in 2013.  We have grown and now have over 300 Digi Stamps, and will be offering rubber stamps, card toppers and more items very soon.

I am also an ordained minister and have been in ministry for over 27yrs and have traveled the earth sharing the Gospel of Jesus. There is nothing I love more than going about My Father's business and showing others how much He loves them and has a purpose and plan for their lives.
I am excited to share my artwork with the community and love to draw images that come to mind throughout my day and share them with you.  I am not only humbled but honored to see the beautiful works of art this community makes with my images.  I am so blown away and in awe of the creativity of such wonderful people.
I have such a supportive family who has been behind me since the get go. My hubby, kiddos, grandchildren, and my travels are constant inspiration for my images.
I love a life where I can make others happy but support my family and keep them happy at the same time! I’m so thankful to God for all the blessings thru all the unnamed obstacles during this journey.
I invite you to become a follower of my blog.  I plan for great things to share with everyone.  I am sure you won't want to miss any of the fun challenges we have planned. You are welcome to hang around so we can get to know each other.

All of our designs are done by owner/artist Francesca Lopez. You can visit her Challenge blog at Cute As A Button Challenge or Facebook Group.

Digistamps4Joy

Digistamps4Joy bio.

I was born in the UK but have spent my whole life in South Africa. I am a widow, have 3 beautiful daughters, and five absolutely delightful grandchildren. Crafts have always been a part of my life, with my mother teaching me at an early age to knit, crochet, and sew. I love drawing, painting, and computers, so it was a natural progression for me to open an online digistamp shop. Crafting relaxes me after a stressful day at work.

Ikesart

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time …… they just loved  to give nicknames .

I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties
I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha.  I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !!  Well, I get more sense out of me.!  I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady”

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal.   I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff

I started my Blog a couple of years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.

My SHOP is IkesArt found at www.ikesart.com
My Blog is Ikes World and is at http://suzy-ikesworld.blogspot.com

SheepSkiDesigns

Andrea Norris, unknown artist - Living in Leeds, Yorkshire in the UK, working full time as a Management Accountant and currently working on 4 design teams.  I'm a dancer (Argentine Tango and Ceroc) and a competitive badminton player.  It's amazing that I've managed to squeeze drawing into my schedule as well as being an obsessive crafter and creator of cards.  I have no actual style as yet but do love the unusual and quirky.  I may be known for producing cards in soft pastel colours.

I love anything arty.  I've always drawn stuff, for as long as I can remember.   In my younger days I sold a few watercolour paintings.  I recently found mixed media which is a joy and love creating canvases with flowers.

I've had a battle with digital drawing for about a year and finally found some software I can gel with in January 2016.  Recently one of the challenge teams I worked on was short of a designer's images to create with so I drew some.  Then people kept asking me for my drawings.  So I thought what the heck let's open a shop and give something back to the crafting world, to the lovely ladies who have supported me on my journey.

Welcome to my world, we're only at the beginning and I have so much more to offer

Andrea x

I am predominantly a self-taught illustrator/designer.
I work full time as a designer, licensed artist and an occasional writer.
I started designing stamps and decorative papers, about 15 years ago,
through my love of paper crafting. I feel very blessed to be able to bring joy and smiles to others, through the personalities of my cute and sometimes whimsical illustrations.

An Artists Feet Are Never On The Ground Because Their Head Is Always In the Clouds!
I have always loved the stranger, quirkier side of life and that is exactly what I love to create. My art being described as a perfect combination of sweet and sour that glitters up the grunge! As a lover of all things whimsical, kawaii and creepy cute, I like to throw in some bubblegum Goth with a touch of glam, punk & rockabilly pinup!

I have certainly never been a mainstream type of girl and definitely won't fit into your stereotypical cookie cutter artists role. I rather find beauty in the truly unique, big eyed creepy little cuties with a bittersweet sadness. I am never truly happier then when I am in my art studio painting or sewing, creating a whimsical dream world easily recognizable as my signature style of creepy yet cute, all the way from the haunting darkness to the rainbowtastic, my creations are lovingly sprinkled with a heartbreaking sweetness.

Growing up a child of the 80's, pop rocks princess, with an extreme fondness for anything candy coated, Kawaii Kitten & Ziggy Stardust, all of which had a major influence in the work that I am creating today. I employ many different mediums when I create, anything from mixed media painting to sewing with many different textiles, the end result always being the same; A whimsical dream world filled with big eyed beauties, creepy little cuties and quirky monsters of all shapes and sizes.

Little Blue Bear

I have been drawing and crafting since I was little and my ambition was to be a cartoon artist. The careers advisor thought this was not a proper job and advised me to work with children. So at 22 after completing my NNEB I started working with children with special needs which I did for 27 years. When we moved in January 2017 my friends and family said it was time to make my art a proper job and so in October 2017 I opened my digi stamp shop. It has been a huge learning curve but  I am just about getting the hang of it and I am loving finally indulging my first love of art.
